Season 4 Finale

The attic gets cleaned out and Greg and Marcia argue over who can have it for their own room.

A good episode, a nice ending to the best season of the show. It begins with Greg wanting to move out but Mike kayos that idea. Mike and Carol are giving away or throwing out everything from the attic. Greg suggests to Mike that the attic would be a good room for him and Marcia does the same to Carol. Mike and Carol agree to each kid without consulting each other. They both then decide Greg should get the room. This leads to back and forth of Greg then giving the room to Marcia and back again. Funniest moments are when Peter and Bobby have to keep moving Greg's stuff back and forth.

William Raynor wrote this classic battle of the sexes episode, and one of the best of the season. Raynor was a regular writer for GET SMART and MCHALES NAVY.

The eternal question arises; how many teens want their privacy? And to have an attic bedroom all to yourself! What a deal on steroids. Unfortunately, as Brady luck would have it, BOTH Marsha and Greg want the room for themselves.

Greg gets the ok from Mike, Marsha gets the ok from Carol and what you have is one gigantic dilemma, that ain't going away fast. After a big, big debate as to who should get the place and why... Marcia gets to "try it out," thanks to gentleman Greg. The most devious strategy is then hatched. Peter comes up with a plan to have Marcia get a series of bogus phone calls DOWNSTAIRS. No cell phones in 1973!

Down she goes, up she goes to answer a call that was a mistake? Marcia is absolutely exhausted, and is the room worth all this trouble?

I agree with the last reviewer, Peter and Bobby have the most fun, moving Greg's stuff out and rearranging their own room! You have to admit, and thanks to the set decorators, when all is said and done, especially in later episodes, the attic turns out to be a real cool pad, replete with beads, posters, lamps, neat furniture and lots of extras. A teen dream if there ever was one, especially for all of us kids back in the day!

Must see tv for the ultimate Brady fan. From SEASON 4 EPISODE 23 remastered ABC/Paramount dvd box set.
