I found this series by accident, and what a find. Clever comedy along with slapstick humour at times. Excellent characters and plots. From the first episode of the first series, you can gel with the main characters. I wouldn't change a thing about the show. Along with parodies of other films/shows/urban myths. I have watched them back to back 3 times. 18 episodes just isn't enough. The inclusion of well known faces is superb. Dylan Moran is epic throughout, Bill Bailey equally so. One could almost believe this is a real little bookshop in the backstreet of a town or city. I would recommend this series to anyone who also likes comedies such as Only Fools and Horses, One foot in the Grave and Black Adder and the like.
