Warning: Spoilers
Lord Barstow-Smythe is a photographer who loses a valuable piece of jewellery.

Litten the new detective wants to prove himself to Galloway. He gets a tip off from a mysterious gentleman who has information on the jewellery but he needs paying.

Litten convinces the insurer to stump up some reward money and pretty soon the police arrest two youths.

Galloway however smells a rat. He thinks this is a set up of an unreliable informer who preys on gullible and inexperienced coppers. Litten fell right for it.

This is a story that focuses on Gary Olsen's character, Litten. Someone who has ambitions but not the know how that the likes of Galloway and Roach have.

There is also a good performance from Trevor Martin as the mysterious gentleman. A cunning crook. Galloway shows once again that he is top dog.
