The first episode that centers more not on Brenda but on somebody else. In this case their parents.The topic is pretty good. About estrangement in marriage and wondering what could have been. But not done in the best way. This "happy ending" just made me feel bad for Cindy. What will Jim do to make the marriage better for her? Just saying I love you, isn't enough. And from the start of the show he seemed like a lousy husband. All the story of having to work for family didn't work, there are plenty of people who managed it while still being part of it and not always away.

Great thing was David becoming the school DJ, looking forward to more of that.

Cindy's stepping out on Jim. Brandon and Brenda prepare for the worst, divorce and being separated between the two parents. Which causes Brandon to become the angriest teen in Beverly Hills.

This episode feels like it comes out of nowhere and turns into a full blown soap opera! I love it!

It's quite possibly so bad, that it's in fact really good.

They do eventually have a similar episode down the road with Jim and his secretary, but it's not nearly as over the top and ridiculous.

Ridiculous because nothing could split those two up! Jim and Cindy are forever!

Oh and David becomes school MC!
