This episode of 77 Sunset Strip has Jeff Spencer going undercover with Roscoe in
prison. In a plot gambit similar to White Heat Roger Smith has to get close to a
prisoner whose got half a million in loot buried before he was incarcerated.
Parks is no Cody Jarrett however. Roger Smith sees some rehabilitatible good in him. His accomplices just want the loot and don't really care if they cut him out of the split in the end.
Stir was a strain for Roscoe as he could no longer indulge his gambling on horses,
Parks and Smith have some good scenes together.
