Hilarious finale.

The plan to smuggle the British Airmen into the Prisoner of War camp is actioned. Herr Flick is listening in on all radio messages and remains a step ahead.

It's a spoof of The Great Escape, it is incredibly funny, the series finale was always something special, and this is no exception, funny from start to finish. The scene where Gruber overhears Rene and Hans in deep conversation is hilarious. Madame Fanny's rendition of take me to your heart again is fabulous, Hill was brilliant.

The trio of Herr Flick, Helga and von Smallhausen are hilarious, outrageous, but they look wonderful and have some great lines. Maria's final episode, she left to join Howard's way. The sets are terrific.

A wonderful end to the series. 9/10
