It's been six months since Davina Jackson's husband Al died of a heart attack after discovering her affair with his leather cladded Australian piano teacher, half their age. She is living with her sister Veronica who blames her for Al's death and her brother-in-law Roger investment consultant turned artist who cannot stop oodling her, purely for artistic reasons he claims. Still working in Clapham Art Gallery with faithful employer/friend Sam, Davina is starting to come to terms with being a widow. She moves out of Veronica and Roger's home into a boat house docked off shore nearby Tate Modern, being neighbours to an idiosyncratic but lonely designer, Lizzy Galbury. Starring Joanna Lumley, Maggie Steed, Simon Day and Jean Marsh
