Comic Relief is just getting better and better for charity and comedy. There is just plenty for everyone. There were loads of hosts, Jonathan Ross, Lenny Henry, Chris Evans, Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan), Davina McCall, Graham Norton and Dermot O'Leary. The parts of the show that stuck out were: The Vicar of Dibley starring Dawn French, Emma Chambers, Trevor Peacock, Roger Lloyd-Pack, James Fleet and John Bluthal. Spider-Plant Man starring Rowan Atkinson, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rachel Stevens, Jim Broadbent, Peter Andre and Tony Robinson. Dick (Richard McCourt) and Dom (Dominic Wood) Celebrity Bogies with Rupert Grint and Sara Cox in Madame Tusaads. Alistair McGowan and Ronni Ancona's impression sequence. Little Britain starring David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Simon Callow, Sir Elton John, Trisha Goddard, George Michael and Robbie Williams. Comic Relief Does Fame Academy bits starring Cat Deeley, Patrick Kielty, Richard Park, Lesley Garrett, Craig Revel Horwood, David and Carrie Grant, Jon Culshaw, Gina Yashere, Adrian Edmondson, Coronation Street's Debra Stephenson, Jenny Eclair, Al Murray, EastEnders' Kim Medcalf, and winning Edith Bowman. My Family with Robert Lindsay, Zoë Wanamaker, Kris Marshall and Nell McAndrew. Absolutely Fabulous's Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley with Emma Bunton and Richard Curtis (manager of Comic Relief). A brief Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones reunion. But of course, the best part was the video of (Is This The Way To) Amarillo sung by Tony Christie with Peter Kay miming, with appearances by Patrick McGuinness, Mark 'Bez' Berry, Mr. Blobby, Bono, Jim Bowen, David Bowie, Ronnie Corbett, Ken and Deirdre of Coronation Street, Geoffrey Hayes and Bungle, Sir Jimmy Saville, Michael Parkinson, Queen's Brian May and Sooty and Sweep. Also starring Richard Briers, Emma Bunton, Jimmy Carr, John Cleese, Martin Clunes, Fearne Cotton, Miss World (Rosanna Davison), Jack Dee, Stephen Fry, Ricky Gervais, EastEnders' Nigel Harman, Harry Hill, Jools Holland, Keane, McFly, Nelson Mandela, Dame Helen Mirren, Chris Moyles, Jamie Oliver, Will Young and many other generous celebrities. It also included a sequence of great comedy sketches, presented by Keira Knightley and Johnny Vaughn. Outstanding!
