first good NASA documentary
QSCHWINN12 May 2005
This movie was a surprise in that it was actually entertaining while documenting the decommissioning and deconstruction of the NASA nuclear reactor. The decommissioning of the NASA reactor is more than just the hardware and test data from the experiments, it's the story of the people who worked there. The movie digs deep into the region's history and and ends with a lessons learned at the end as the land under the reactor is returned to it's original state. You get a glimpse into how it must have been to be working for NASA during the exciting times of the Space Race. You also see how world events helped shape this fertile ground where Indians once gathered to hunt and then where American's farmed and then again where NASA's bright young scientists dreamed of things that might be for our journey into space.
