Timely
ermaho26 April 2006
This is a tight, very timely independent film concerning the dangers that can confront a child on the internet. Presenting an accurate portrayal of a "lurker" and his victim, Hamal 18 couldn't be more on the mark. The details of the police work that goes into catching those who prey upon unsuspecting children seems to be as realistic as anything else I've seen either in film or on television. By using flashbacks and the present, the film manages to capture the psychological torment and and terror suffered by the parents of the doomed child. Production values are amazingly good for a film that apparently had a low budget. Were that some of the big budget studio films contained half the truth this film has.

Intense Drama .... Surprise Twtist .... What a Ride !!!

Very intense Drama ... found the first 25 minutes somewhat confusing but then it quickly sorts itself out .... extreme suspense ...and quite a twist.

I was getting ready to bail out in the first 20 minutes but stuck with it and am glad I did. The acting was well done ... the anguish and psychosis exhibited was quite convincing. Never heard of any of these actors before but they were brilliant.

You might not want to be alone in a room with the lights off while you are watching this one.

Quite the movie ... worth watching ... !!!
