This anime is an incredibly helpful tool if you are trying to get a good feel for what China was like after the fall of the Han empire. The characters, events, and general time line are well captured by this show. If you already contain interest on the period in question and you are in to anime, you can't go wrong with this show. However, this does not have the power to turn those who are not interested in either the history itself nor anime into fans of either. Also, if you are watching this for the sake of viewing your favorite video game or book in a new light, it ends a little earlier than I would have liked, but if you are unfamiliar with the story then you won't have a problem. Overall this is a great piece and should be taken in to consideration...especially if you are loving the games. Hope this has been helpful.

breath taking chinease history!!

The romance of the three kingdoms is an in-depth and wonderful insight into chinease history and the three kingdoms of ancient china. It tells the tale of the three leaders of china. Sun jian, the tiger of jiang dong and ruler of wu, lui bei, ruler of shu and finally the masterful Cao, magnificent and epic ruler of Wei. It shows their life's from their very first campaign against the yellow turbans to their eventual rise.It expresses the scheming alliances made and the sincerity of the generals. It shows the munificent strategies used to overcome the most difficult of situations and the weapons and castles used to get there, also made into the game series, Dynasty warriors. From the mighty lu be to the virtuous guan yu, This is a must see.

The unique saga of the three kingdoms is an anime that will immerse you. When I was a child, I watched this anime on the national television of my country and I was very surprised by its beautiful story. After 30 years, I watched this series completely again and enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed watching this anime even more than the first time. Apart from the unique story of this anime, which is based on a famous novel, the direction of this anime is also excellent and perfect. The characterization is excellent. The characters of the story introduce themselves very well and make you join them. The story engages you. This anime does not have a single boring episode. You will be immersed in the story from the beginning and you will be with this beautiful series until the end. The creator of this anime has passed away, I hope his soul rests in peace. Be sure to watch this beautiful series. If you are a fan of war anime or if you are a fan of epic anime, don't miss this series.
