Maurice Costello and Mary Charleson acquit themselves with great credit in this two-reel dramatic presentation. A society belle who has been secretly accused of marrying for money stands the "acid test" and discloses a heart of gold. The plot is admirably sustained throughout and, right up to the last minute, the audience is kept in doubt of the outcome. - The Moving Picture World, May 30, 1914
