Holly shines in outstanding romance
lor_27 July 2019
Coming after some of his best turn of this century Adult films, "Duchess" finds Nicholas Steele in full command of a Couples Romance in the life-style porn genre that Paul Thomas excelled with a decade or so before. It is especially worth seeing for a rare starring role for lovely Holly Hollywood.

Holly is usually cast in second banana parts, a friend of the heroine or just there for a sex scene or two. But this time she plays a bored socialite attending an elegant garden party (a format that provided Adam & Eve with several of its biggest 1990s hits), in which she falls for a gardener smoothly played by Steven St. Croix.

He's working temporarily at the estate, living in a guest house, and the contrast in their life styles makes up the bulk of the story line. He is an itinerant free spirit, travelling the world and not subject to the constraints of society. Holly, who he nicknames "Duchess" given her regal "la de da" bearing at first, is married and utterly inhibited, a problem he will soon rectify.

A beautiful supporting cast, led by Nipple queen Laurie Wallace and the elegant newcomer Cameron, as well as Brit & Euro imports Ashley Long and Bobbi Eden, make for an endlessly romantic and erotic feature, paced and performed in the langourous style that is Steele's and label Adam & Eve's trademark. A very interesting ending is created by the return home of husband Steve Holmes, whose big dick (certainly twice the size of Steven's) settles the argument for Holly (and likely the audience) which road she should take for her future.

As usual with Steele, the production is first-rate in all departments, a classy approach current pornographers might consider emulating.
