Super Crime Thriller!
scottmcgilli8 January 2006
Best damn indie film I have ever seen. This was shot on a shoe-string budget and comes out with some serious raw grit. The blood and gore effects are top notch and really deliver and emotional wallop! This was based upon Shakespeare's "MacBeth" and converted to modern days in the middle of the Canadian prairie. Features lots of action and some really disturbing sequences. Some really unique sets and locations. Directed by Steven Rumbelow and produced by Frank Capra Jr. this was a very experimental attempt at true "renegade" film making.

Don't let the low budget fool you.

If you get the chance, don't miss this hidden gem!

A wildly screwy crime story

I saw it in the theatre at a film festival in Regina. Been looking for a DVD of it ever since. If you like crazy stories with off-the-wall detours you'll love this film. If not you'll probably hate it. To me this is what the indie genre is for. New talent doing things the Hollywood giants don't want to do because they don't take chances. Total disrespect. Low budget. Sick humour. All those $60 million "indies" that get made under the indie banner are killing the genre because people are no longer wanting to see the emerging work that new film makers are producing. Pity. There has to be an infrastructure in film to avoid stagnation.

don't be fooled by the above post

the above poster praising the movie is biased as he had a minor role in it. What he says is false, the movie itself was low budget and it shows painfully. It looks like a bunch of high school friends got together and filmed a project for history class. the editing is extremely poor, and the lighting and sound is so bad in some scenes that you will ask yourself if this is a sick joke. the acting by the main characters is weak and mediocre at best, and the supporting cast was obviously picked out of a hat. I had the misfortune of seeing it, and it was so bad i had to turn it off halfway through. I scratched the DVD so that it couldn't be viewed ever again.

avoid this at all costs. you will thank me later
