Handle With Care - too bad they didn't do that with the print!

Warning: Spoilers
Secret agent Mark Roberts has a new mission: to shut down an arms smuggling ring. He is not the best agent around, but he has lady luck (among other ladies) on his side. The best thing about this fairly unknown male lead is that he doesn't take himself too seriously; there is a funny scene where he's sitting at a club and, when two middle-aged women give him suggestive looks, he smiles politely and turns the other way, only to have a middle-aged bearded man also give him a suggestive look! Unfortunately, the print of "Handle With Care" that I managed to track down was in terrible condition, seriously diminishing the visual appeal of the genre (mostly the locations - here including Tunisia, Barcelona, and briefly London & Rome - and the women - Roberts has a knack for them, although they usually lead him straight into trouble). But even if you try to overlook this problem, the film is nothing really special; the script is meandering, and the villains are poorly defined. You have to a hardcore fan of the genre to sit through this. *1/2 out of 4.
