This three-reel picture was made by Savoia Film Company. There is an absence of heart interest. To make up for this deficiency there is action aplenty. In the beginning there is the atmosphere of the circus, which seems to be a popular vehicle in the making of pictures on the other side of the water. One of the important incidents is the robbery of an embassy of a secret treaty and the attempts to recover it. There are some fine settings and good photography. - The Moving Picture World, October 4, 1913
