Funny-non swiss chocolate
jrcasorla1 January 2010
I saw this "Swiss Comedy" a few years ago, and throughly enjoyed it! It was quite a surprise. At first I thought I was going to be put off by the sub-titles, but because they were so well done, after a few minutes, I didn't even notice. It actually reminded me of the old French farce plays, complete with slamming doors, mistaken identities, and sexual innuendos. Like "A Flea in her Ear" or "A Servant of Two Masters". Only this was "modernized" and the typical farce elements were brought up to the 21st Century!. The Direction, Acting and production values were all of a caliber you would expect from a high budget American studio production, not an independent low budget Swiss film. I think it's a great "date flick",and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

A Love Quadrangle
FilmFestivals20141 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie at the Indian International Film Festival with Monsoon Wedding and Bend It Like Beckham. An unexpected treat from Switzerland with very, pretty girls. It has a great story with swiss sweets, chocolates and cakes. Shot in the swiss alps, it stars the then Miss Switzerland in the leading role as the beautiful cake maker in town who is bored with her monotonous relationship. The movie also focuses on her extremely open minded friend who is about to do a very close minded thing which brings a domino effect to this non stop entertainer which will keep you guessing. Does anybody know where I can get a hold of this DVD in the US??

Jerry Lewis would be proud

i saw this film a few years back at a festival in berlin and loved it. i thought the story was absolutely hilarious and the acting top notch. direction was sublime. it reminded me of many of the jerry lewis, dean martin flicks of the 50-60's. i would love to see it again, again and again. i believe the film was an indy, but it certainly had the production values of a major studio release. of all the places in the world, i am surprised that i haven't seen it on the big screen in new york. the french would love this film. in my mind, it could develop a sort of cult like following. i hope it makes it into bigger distribution. if not, i would love to get my hands on a dvd.
