Is Jerry Seinfeld talking about the same Hugh Grant we all know? The Hugh Grant of “Paddington Bear,” “Dungeons and Dragons” and “Wonka?” The guy who could make a villain seem fun and even lovable?
Yeah, I thought we’d all secretly agreed that Hugh Grant can do no wrong? Well, here’s Jerry Seinfeld with a pin to burst our bubbles.
Jerry Seinfeld – Says Hugh Grant Issues This Early Warning Before Working With Someone
Jerry Seinfeld and Hugh Grant recently reunited on the set of Netflix’s upcoming movie, “Unfrosted,” which will make its premiere on May 3, and let me tell you, the sparks flew.
In his latest interview with Jimmy Fallon, the star claimed that Grant, who plays Frosties mascot Tony the Tiger in the movie, made filming hard and “horrible.”
However, he did admit that Grant forewarned him on what their working relationship was going to be like from the get-go.

When Paul King's 2014 film "Paddington" came out, audiences had reason to be skeptical. The beloved title character, a talking Peruvian bear left alone at London's Paddington station, wasn't necessarily a good fit for a live-action take. Movies like 2002's "Scooby Doo" and 2007's "Alvin and the Chipmunks" were proof that audiences would show up for CGI versions of classic characters, but the movies could also be ugly and loud, the most cynical kind of children's movie. Nobody wanted that fate for Paddington Bear.
But the character flourished in the new medium. King's film received a great deal of critical praise, getting a 97% positive approval rate on RottenTomatoes. The movie was sparkling, playful, and gleefully imaginative, and rather than stop the movie dead, Paddington's (voiced by Ben Wheatley) wild antics set the stage for physical comedy in the vein of Charlie Chaplin. 2017's "Paddington 2" was even better, finding...

Exclusive: StudioCanal has acquired a minority stake in The Picture Company, the production venture run by partners Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman that has generated a steady stream of genre and action hits under a first-look deal with Europe’s leading production and distribution studio.
Aside from the stake in the company, StudioCanal has closed a new five-year overall deal with the producers. The goal of all this is to scale up The Picture Company to be an even more prolific supplier of films with global appeal. The relationship between the companies began in 2015. Kate Winslet, Sharon Horgan and Ben Whishaw were among those who scooped the top prizes at the BAFTA TV awards on Sunday evening.
The ceremony, which took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, was hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
Winslet won the prize for best leading actress for her turn in “I Am Ruth,” which also starred her real-life daughter Mia Threapleton. The duo also took to the stage to accept the award for best single drama, with Threapleton tearing up. “We did this together kiddo,” Winslet said as she accepted the leading actress award, adding: “There were days when it was agony for [Threapleton] to dig as deeply as she did and it took my breath away.”

Prince William — and the world — was in for a huge surprise from Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. Now the Prince of Wales, William once admitted had a few choice swear words on the tip of his tongue when he saw his late grandmother in a James Bond video.
Queen Elizabeth made a cameo alongside Daniel Craig in a James Bond video for the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony
The opening ceremony at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England, included a special introduction for the queen. She took her seat only after a short pre-recorded clip of her and Daniel Craig, as James Bond, played.
The six-minute video showed Craig, sporting a tuxedo as the iconic film character, going to Buckingham Palace. There he saw the queen — and her beloved corgis — before escorting her, via helicopter, to the Olympic stadium.
Their chopper flew over London, past landmarks and waving spectators before finally reaching the stadium.

Paddington fans can rest easy... because filming on a second sequel has now been given a date.
While a third movie based around the adventures of Paddington Bear, was announced back in 2016, recent reports had suggested the project was stuck in development limbo.
Speaking to Collider earlier this year, Paddington voice actor Ben Whishaw claimed: “I haven’t read this script and I don’t even know when we’re due to shoot it. I don’t know. I thought it would be happening by now, but I don’t know. It’s gone silent in the way that sometimes these things do.
“Maybe that just means they’re still working on it, or maybe it means it’s not happening, or you just don’t know.”
The previous film in the franchise, the enthusiastically praised Paddington 2, was released back in 2017.

Great news for those who wanted their beloved fictional brown bear, Paddington, to return to the big screen: The much-anticipated third installment in the "Paddington" film series is finally happening! This is a triumph for long-time fans of the acclaimed film franchise, as there were doubts earlier this year that we might not be getting a "Paddington 3" after all. Now that the film is officially slated to start production sometime in June (via Deadline), it's time to whip up some delicious marmalade sandwiches in celebration of the news.
Officially titled "Paddington in Peru," the third installment in the "Paddington" film series will see the return of the highly-intelligent brown bear, who will most likely travel back to his birthplace, Peru. This time, music videos and commercials director Dougal Wilson will be helming this much-awaited sequel, with Ben Whishaw reprising his role as the voice of the titular charming bear.

Story comes from Paddington 1 & 2 collaborators Paul King, Simon Farnaby and Mark Burton with a screenplay by Burton, Jon Foster and James Lamont. As previously announced, music videos and commercials director Dougal Wilson is making his feature debut.

Don Lusk, an animator behind “Alice in Wonderland,” “Peter Pan,” and many more classic animated Disney movies, died Sunday morning, according to a Facebook post by Ed Asner’s daughter, Navah Paskowitz-Asner. He was 105.
Lusk’s 60-year career touched countless classic works from Disney, where his career began in 1933. There he worked his animation magic on famous titles including 1938’s “Ferdinand the Bull,” 1942’s “Bambi,” 1950’s “Cinderella,” 1955’s “Lady and the Tramp,” 1959’s “Sleeping Beauty,” and 1961’s “101 Dalmatians.” Some of his most memorable work includes Cleo the goldfish in 1940’s “Pinocchio” and the “Nutcracker Suite” fish dance in “Fantasia.”
After leaving Disney in 1960, he continued freelancing throughout the decade, working on several Charlie Brown specials beginning with 1969’s “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” and throughout the ’70s with “It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown!” and “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown.” He also freelanced for Upa on the animated...

Following the worldwide hit “Paddington,” one of the most successful family films of all time, this much-anticipated sequel finds Paddington (Ben Whishaw) happily settled with the Brown family in London, where he has become a popular member of the local community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes.
While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s hundredth birthday, Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, it’s up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief.
Reuniting many of the original film’s cast while welcoming those in new roles, Paddington 2 stars Golden Globe nominee Hugh Bonneville (“Downton Abbey”), Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), three-time Golden Globe nominee Brendan Gleeson (“The Guard,” “Into the Storm,” “In Bruges”), Oscar nominee Julie Walters (“Billy Elliot,...

Mortuary Massacre is a new anthology style horror from writer and director Chris J. Miller, which has been selected to play at the Horror-on-Sea Film Festival on Friday 26th January. I got chance to ask Chris about how the anthology came together, undertaking multiple role to get the film finished and overcoming several obstacles to get the film finished.
What can we expect from Mortuary Massacre?
Hopefully a bloody good time! It’s an anthology in the vein of the Amicus films, Body Bags (1993) or Creepshow (1982). So, expect a lot of practical makeup effects, some T & A, cannibalism, facial skinning, and even a Nazi zombie shows up to say hello.
How did the ideas for Mortuary Massacre come together as an anthology?
Back in 2011, my writing partner Sean Stearley and I wanted to make a film about a zombie cowboy, but we could never get past the 30-page mark, so...

An 8-year-old girl is using her video series to bring dozens of books to kids battling serious illnesses.

Warner Bros. announced Wednesday that it has bought the rights to “Paddington 2,” a StudioCanal film whose domestic rights were previously owned by the struggling Weinstein Company. The sale of the film, which is produced by David Heyman, comes as TWC tries to maintain solvency as it sells its remaining assets. The first “Paddington,” which was released in Ssummer 2015, grossed $268 million worldwide against a $55 million budget, including $76.2 million domestically and just under $65 million in the U.K., where Paddington Bear was first created in the 1950s. Almost since he started acting, he has sought other purposes, including as a press abuse campaigner. But a brilliant turn in the new Paddington Bear film is set to herald an acting renaissance
There is no shortage of joyous moments during Paddington 2, the sequel to the 2014 surprise hit, and many of them revolve around a lip-smacking performance by Hugh Grant. He plays the villainous Phoenix Buchanan, a washed-up, narcissistic actor reduced to making dog food commercials, who spots a chance to finance his one-man show by stealing an antique book. The role gives the 57-year-old Grant a chance to don a variety of absurd disguises (among them a homeless man, a nun and a bishop) in his nefarious pursuit of riches. Grant appears to be enjoying himself enormously, which has not always been the case in recent times, on screen or off.
The actor is showing every sign of undergoing a renaissance.

Kate Middleton may be pregnant with her third child, but she’s certainly not afraid to break a sweat! The 35-year-old royal visited the National Tennis Centre in London on Tuesday after taking over patron duties for the Lawn Tennis Association from Queen Elizabeth.
The sporty Duchess of Cambridge joined a group of children participating in the Tennis for Kids campaign, even running basic drills with some of the young participants.

She also met and saw a demonstration from Alfie Hewett, a two-time Paralympic medalist and Wimbledon and Us Open Wheelchair Doubles champion.
For the active event, Middleton went casual in black sweatpants, white sneakers, and a zip-up black jacket. The faintest hint of her baby bump was visible beneath the loose-fitted clothing.

"Are you quite sure you're ready for the work-place, Paddington?" Studiocanal UK has unveiled the new full-length trailer for the live-action Paddington bear sequel, titled simply Paddington 2. In this movie, Paddington the bear, now happily settled with the Brown family, picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present (a book) for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen. The film's very British cast includes Hugh Grant, Brendan Gleeson, Peter Capaldi, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, and Hugh Bonneville, with Ben Whishaw returning as the voice of Paddington, and Imelda Staunton as the voice of Aunt Lucy. I much, much prefer this movie to the other British hybrid-cgi movie Peter Rabbit, which looks terrible. This, on the other hand, looks very adorable and totally fun.
