When Skysports first got rights to international cricket way back in 1990, questions were asked, what will sky have to offer, will it be any good, and will it be as good as BBC test match special.

The answers are hit for 6 on every one. Sky sports coverage of cricket has revolutionized the sport, and fans such as myself are now able to see virtually any international game live or on highlights on the day.

Sky Sports have done very well for themselves here. They have a great-line up of commentators such as past-england captains - Bob Willis, David Gower, (recent recruit) Nasser Hussain and the legendary Ian 'beefy' Botham; they also have David Lloyed and Michael Holding on their books too. They also have studio-guests such as Sanjay Mandraker,Athar Ali Khan, Mark Ramprakash, Robert Croft and Darren Gough serving on certain games.

Sky also have brought in reveloutional gadgets such as stump-cam, different camera-angles and up2the date statics on the game.

My favourite match broadcast by Sky Sports would have to be the 5th Ashes test 2003 at the SCG, it was a match in which england won to save the Aussies from getting a whitewash and its matches like that owe good credit for sky's broadcasting.

In the last 2years Sky have received rights for the Twenty20 cup in which it's hammer and tong for 2 innings. David Lloyd is always on the lookout for the jacuzzi girls, as a result the rest of the team are on the lookout for Lloyd!

Well Done Sky Sports Cricket, a gr8 ongoing effort!
