  Hagrid : Well sure. His brother Charlie had to bring them over from Romania. Didn't Ron tell you that?

  Harry : No he didn't. He didn't tell me a thing.

  Hagrid : I take after my mum. Though I didn't know her very well. She left when I was about three.

  Madame Olympe Maxime : Oh.

  Hagrid : No, not the maternal sort, her. Broke me dad's heart, though. He was a tiny little fella, my dad. I could pick him up at the age of six with one hand and put him up on the dresser.

  [he chuckles; Maxime bursts out laughing] 

  Hagrid : He laughed so hard at that. Very funny.

  [Maxime reaches down to pick something from Hagrid's beard; she pops it in her mouth and licks her fingers seductively] 

  Hagrid : And then he died just when I started school, so... So I sort of had to make me own way, as it were.
