Rahman and Satyaraj are close freinds. Both owe loyalty to each other .Rahman and rich Kasturi get married. Satyaraj and Sukanya get married. Kasturi's rich father Thilagan with his friend Nasser create a lot of hurdles in their lives as they are eyeing the massive land on which Satyaraj , Rahman and otoher slum dwellers live . They create misunderstandings between the two so that they can split and they can grab the land quickly . Both stick to each other through thick and thin . Finally the villains are brought to book. All the main cast are good eye candy. Satya raj and Rahman are tall and svelte . Kasturi looks resplendent in costly silks and velvets with jewellery as a rich girl. Sukanya looks beautiful in simple cotton sarees . She is a cursed girl whose fiances die every time . Before consumating her marriage to Satyaraj , she is killed by Thilakan's men and Satyaraj too dies in the end .Father Radha Ravi is left to fend for himself . He shows all emotions finely as a concerned father, a sad bewildered one later frustrated at his daugther's predicament . Veterans Thilakan and Nasser glide through their roles. KR Vijaya comes ina small role as Kasturi's aunt .Some songs are hummable shot in lush locales. Over all a fine family movie .
