Like most kids I played and watched Pokemon.Pokemon was a big fad back in 1998-2001 and I was there watching the show religiously and playing the games. To this day I cannot stand the show or the toys but occasionally I play the two pokemon games I have for Gameboy Color Pokemon Red and Silver Version. This review is for Pokemon Silver Version but Pokemon Gold Version is the same.Pokemon Silver Version is much much better than blue or red version. In Pokemon Blue and Red you play as Ash(default name you can choose what you want to call him).In this one you play as Silver(or Gold depending on the version. You can once again choose what you want to call him). The plot is basically the same as the first one.You go through different cities battling pokemon and getting badges while catching different pokemon and battling Team Rocket. This game is expanded from Pokemon Blue and Red.You now have 250 Pokemon to choose from. You make your way up to the johto league and battle the trainers and win. That is actually just the first part of the video game. After you beat the johto league you can travel to Kanto the place where the first pokemon games took place and get another eight badges. In the end of Kanto you go through a secret cave and you battle Red the main character from the first pokemon games.Pokemon Gold/Siver Version is a sequel which is better than the original.Good game.
