Ed Solomon has sold the comedy pitch Me & Olivia to Paramount Pictures. Insiders estimate the deal to be worth more than $1 million. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing the film through his Paramount-based di Bonaventura Pictures. Described as being in the vein of Bruce Almighty, the story centers on a man who finds the solution to his on-the-job problems via the imaginary world of his 6-year-old daughter. Solomon also will pen the screenplay with writing partner Chris Matheson. The pair penned Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Paramount's Brad Weston and Dan Levine are shepherding for the studio. Solomon's deal was brokered by WMA and attorney Michael Gendler, while di Bonaventura's deal was handled by attorney Eric Brooks. Solomon's writing credits also include Men in Black and Charlie's Angels, as well as Tokyo Suckerpunch, which Columbia Pictures and Red Wagon are developing with Tobey Maguire attached. Matheson's credits include Evil Alien Conquerors for Radar Pictures. He is repped by Above the Line Agency and attorney Shep Rosenman.
