Independent Film with Brad Rowe
reviewguy20034 June 2003
I recently saw this feature fiilm at a Film Festival in Los Angeles. The story was unique and stood out from the rest that night. (Satan tormenting the Angel) the acting was superb, and the camera work had a dark, film noir feel. The use of editing helped create this underground world that are characters are in. I have seen many independent films, but this one is truly special. I highly recommend picking this up film up if you can find it. The budget was extremely low, but it did not interfere with the way it was told. In this film you see a different side to, Brad Rowe, that you have not seen before. Tony Zierah, the writer/director, is one to keep your eye on. He has a great sense of editing and I really wanted to see more at the climax. It fell a little short at the end, but my friend and I have been looking for "Invisible Temptation" on DVD, but cannot seem to find it. 7 / 10

you get what you pay for

Kudos to those folks restricted by a low budget who prevent that low budget from showing. On the other hand, when the low budget is quite noticeable, how can it be ignored? For example, the dialogue in this film is - in my opinion - obviously very low-budget sounding. And, the effects are very low-budget looking. The paychecks of most of the actors shouldn't have been very much, either. The experiences of Nagel, the main character, illustrate that there is temptation associated with so many of our moves. There are cults, drugs, sex, racial tension, violence, etc., amongst the sprinkling of positives, which are just as important to recognize. Therefore, INVISIBLE TEMPTATION is worthwhile, even if it only gets this point across.

this movie ROCKS!!

Was given this as a gift...and what a kickin surprise...cool plot...good acting...and some awesome bonding between a dude and his boy...later on, it becomes somewhat strained as the boy is seduced by a Daddy-type who happens to worship Satan and is as hot of "DADDY" with his extensive tattoos as any boy seeking guidance in the spiritual paths of life could ever pray for, let alone RARELY have...there's a somewhat comical scene where the two boys, upon waiting for the Daddy to finish up doin' his morning business in the adjacent room, manage to blow a huge pile of the dealer's coke or crystal meth all over the room, only to then try and "sweep it under the rug." LOL Twisted imagery, hot acting, nice party movie. Enjoy it - and Hail Satan!
