This short animation comes as add-on in the DVD of Musíme si pomáhat (2000), and it makes quite a good companion piece. It mimicks a Czech newsreel of the 1940s (obviously under German occupation), with many interesting ideas. Others didn't resonate with me, like the animated ant section. But then again, the fashion report on the backdrop of a poster for "United Farben of Benito"... I couldn't help thinking of the best Monty Python animations, and then some. Or, the Hitler "home story"...
Irritating, but amazing Czech humor, and technically very well done, even if b/w. But that's of course mandatory for period spoof. If you can, watch this right before Musíme si pomáhat - it adds quite a dimension to the experience, somehow like Leonard Maltin's "Night at the movies".
