A masterpiece for the kids, a good investment for the adults...

That's the kind of movie that you saw and feel that the investment was rentable because everyone around you enjoyed it, and you also enjoyed it too.

Without a great screenplay, art or even sound, but full of colour, magic and energy, that movie will surprise you from the first to the last minute and you'll probably never forget it, neither the joyful characters! It's about a penguin that is captured in wildlife to go to a private zoo in a lonely island (where are thousands of others animals) and his family and friends adventure to bring him back home... The kind of journey that we all had already dreamed off or even did to some animal that we captured somewhere... It makes you think twice the next time you'll go to the beach or to the mountains, I bet on it!!!

I spent 15 years of my life looking for this movie!

Warning: Spoilers
As you already know, i literally have spent a long time looking for this movie, and I'm not talking about just looking for it in stores, it became my obsession to find it. When i was just 5 years old, my parents rented this movie to help us learn Spanish better, after that i never saw it again, whenever i would remember it, i would search the internet for hours for any cartoon penguin movies, all i ever got was pebble and the penguin or Madagascar,i couldn't even find it on IMDb,but of course it exists. Soon it became an unhealthy obsession to find out if this movie actually existed! i even went through a list of every cartoon in existence, i even looked for movies made in Mexico and Spain, but this movie was made in Argentina.i actually found it by complete coincidence, when i was watching another Spanish cartoon on you tube, it just popped up out of nowhere, as if it was Gods will! i couldn't believe it, i found out the name, found it on amazon, bought it, and finally watched it. it was exactly as i remembered it, the story is quite intriguing, a female penguin named luna is kidnapped by poachers that take her to a Dr. Moreaus island, where a mad scientist fuses animals together. Her family tries to rescue her, and mostly, shenanigans just happen after that point.the plot is childish most of the time, but i enjoyed the plot twist, that the mad scientist and grandpa penguin knew each other; when the mad scientist was a child he would torture animals at the zoo, and when he was about to torture the penguins, one pecked his eye out, and he lost it and wants revenge on all animals especially penguins. The characters are very memorable, so memorable i still remembered their peculiar designs, the mixed and matched animals are very creative as well, i really like the rhino gorilla's, also they are all very well animated, however the background is not very good and the CGI is awful, but i still enjoyed the movie, perhaps out of nostalgia and a unhealthy obsession, but despite this movie only being in Spanish, it still is a good cartoon for children. I constantly had to ask my siblings if they remembered it, just to make sure i wasn't making it up in my mind, i came to tears when i finally found it again.
