Vdvo: Vampires, werewolves, hybrids, blood from the vein, Hunter's neck goes “snap”, Jeremy gets invisible ink.
Elena is sleeping uneasily in her room. She awakens and heads to the kitchen for a cuppa and is startled by a momentary vision of Connor. As she grabs her tea Connor appears again and sets in on the torment. She tries to convince herself that he's a ghost and calls for Jeremy but he puts her in a sleeper hold. Elena breaks free, grabs a knife and plunges it into Connor's neck.
Except it's Jeremy's neck.
Last episode she got him shot and this episode stabbed. Next episode she'll probably set him on fire. Title card!
Several hours later an agitated Elena waits for Jeremy to revive and wonder to Damon what she can possibly say. Damon suggests “Thanks for not ditching the family ring after it drove Ric crazy.

Vdvo: Witches and werewolves and vamps, oh my!
We open this week with Connor entering his Grimm trailer, which is surprisingly not burned to the ground by anyone. He plops Nate's head on a side table (which is enough to get Nate an IMDb credit for the episode) and flashes back to a meet with Professor Shane.
"No, I will not come back during posted office hours!"
Connor's pissed that Shane's reluctance to provide intel led to Connor's spending two days chained to Klaus's favorite torture device. I know people who'd pay good money for that. They chest-thump at each other, but we haven't seen Shane's chest yet so I cannot declare a winner. The upshot? Shane will fill Connor in on his backstory when Conor's “hunter's mark” is complete. He declares Bonnie off-limits, but when Connor promises death to all who oppose him Shane decides to distract Bonnie himself.

The Wizard Of Oz 70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’S Edition (Warner Bros.) A true highlight in digital restoration technology, Warner Bros. restoration of the 1939 classic is cause for celebration. The Technicolor of the late ‘30s looks as though it was shot yesterday, and is especially stunning on Blu-ray, which was produced by scanning each of the film’s original Technicolor camera negatives using 8K resolution. From this scan, a final “capture” master was created in 4K, yielding twice the resolution seen in the master utilized for the film’s previous DVD release. Judy Garland’s Dorothy is charming as ever, and the entire cast: Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley and Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch, are all stellar. Four disc set bonuses include: Sing-along track; Documentaries and featurettes; Two 1914 silent films produced by Oz author L. Frank Baum, based on his stories...
