Female as the voyeur
rlcsljo11 September 2002
Its ok to watch, if you are a reporter? Especially, if you are a female reporter. So in order to boost circulation a female "investigative" reporter spies on the various customers of a male gigolo. Sometimes she gets involved in the action. Eventually, she gets too involved.

Most of the girls in this flick are absolutely delicious and, of course, are nude often and for long periods of time. Despite the porno flavor of it all, some back plot lines keep it slightly above others in this genre.

Everything is beautiful

It dawned on me while watching this film, that here was the role - reversal version of Pretty Woman. Instead of Richard Gere's businessman and Julia Roberts' hooker, we have Lauren Hays' journalist and Mark Ritter's male escort, or gigolo. It is all very decent and above board with little in the way of sleaze, apart from a certain upper-class lady who enjoys a bit of rough, to spoil the illusion. The plot is fairly formulaic so the end result will not come as too much of a surprise.

In this fantasy world, the men would be total saints if it wasn't for all those sexually rapacious women with their degrading ways. Obviously, because of the subject matter there are a number of sex and nudity scenes and Lauren Hays looks great hers. Other women who strut their stuff include Gwen Somers, Leslie Zemeckis and Brande Roderick. Just like Pretty Woman, it is all fantasy.

Not so bad plot. Only for Lauren Hayes fans.

Warning: Spoilers
Well this movie does have a plot. It's not the best but it's quite interesting. The plot deals with a hot undercover reporter that investigates a gigolo (or male prostitute as called in some scene in the movie) that is sleeping with the governor's wife.

ANyways, you don't need to know the premise about the movie. Just watch it and have some fun. I cheered for both in the ending. It's a happy one.

I like to point that the chemistry between the male lead actor and Lauren Hayes works perfect. It looks like both actors had a great time doing the movie. Their sex scene (yeah only one between the two main characters) is steamy and well done. The other sex scenes deal with the gigolo and several other women (hot). Man, I wish that instead of "touching herself", Lauren would join the gigolo and the hot blonde he picks up from the bar. The woman knows how to turn on the audience by wearing those sexy mini skirts and tight pants. She has a killer body!

The sex scenes are well done but very routine. I'd recommend this movie only for Lauren Hayes fans. Don't waste your money on this one, better wait for it to air on Skin-E-Max.

This movie belongs to Lauren Hays....she was great! A-

I've seen my share of movies by Mystique Films, and I think that this is one of the better ones.

Lauren Hays plays a journalist looking for a sexy story. She's sleeping with her boss, who enjoys her juicy columns as well as her sexy body. She comes up with a plan.....she decides to do a story on gigolos. Why they chose the profession, the things they do that normal guys don't, etc. To get the info she needs, she poses as a lonely woman looking for love. She chooses one to interview, but the problem is she can't let the guy know he's being interviewed.

She signs up for an appointment, but she just wants to talk. They talk on their next visit, but this time she wants to watch him with another girl. And there she is.....in all her blindfolded glory!

Who? Taimie Hannum, of course. I just had to mention that. I can't get enough of that girl.

Anyway, before you know it, she ends up falling for the guy and tries this sex-for-money thing herself, as she becomes a call girl!!! Where's the logic in that??? Of course this upsets her current boyfriend and the guy she wants to be with now.

I thought this was a better than average B-movie. Lauren Hays carried this flick from beginning to end. I give it an A-.

Sex: A Women: A- Story: B+ Overall: A-

Personally, I LOVED IT
swingsing212 August 2003
Speaking as a female, I can't say that the women in the movie did much for me at all...however, Mark Ritter did EVERYTHING for me! I enjoyed this movie almost solely because of him. I was surprised to find a really good actor in the middle of a softcore porn movie. I would love to see him in something that could really showcase his talents (besides being absolutely the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life...so what if he isn't 21?) This could have been a really GOOD movie overall if the sex hadn't actually gotten in the way of a decent storyline. I know, it is a silly thing to say about a porn movie. I guess I was watching for the romance...and that did come through. I sure hope that he does more films or TV because I would give my eyeteeth to know more about him. All I can find out is what is on here...and that he is a model with LA Management. The mark of a good actor is one than can make me wish I KNEW that character personally. He made Gage seem very interesting and mysterious. I can't help thinking what COULD have been done with this film.

I thought Lauren Hays did a great acting job as well. These two actually have what it takes to do feature films...but apparently Lauren LIKES doing porn films. I wonder if Mark does. I thought the woman playing Ariel was really good and quirky but the rest of the women almost seemed extraneous.

good movie for the dating crowd...
tomlippi4219 May 2005
Eve Ellis makes this a collector's item just because she's in it and is strikingly beautiful. She is known internationally. The story line is simple, and the film is basically about a gigolo, and his lifestyle. The problems that occur, and the cast does their best to be upbeat. Eve plays a waitress in one scene, and you can't take your eyes off her! This is an interesting feature for the swinging and dating crowd, with elements of excitement and danger. Without giving away the ending it was witty and somewhat amusing leaving the viewer with a sense of EVEryone receiving what they deserved and a little bit gratified. There are a few twists and turns midway thru and the plot moves fairly quickly.

Good movie for Lauren Hays fans.
dbrown-07020425 September 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

Lauren Hays is a reporter who decides to do a story on a male prostitute. She goes undercover to watch him have sex with his clients. She falls in love with him, feels guilty, and reveals her true identity to him. He gets mad because she betrayed him. And this isn't hypocritical at all. I mean sure, he has sex with married women for money, but you know, she lied to him. In an unintentionally hilarious scene, he tells her (using that breathy, distraught, hurt woman voice): "Just get out!". Then they make up. The end.

There are nine sex scenes. Seven are boy/girl, one is girl/girl, and one is boy/girl/girl. Lauren is in four of the scenes. She also has a strip scene. As always, Lauren is great as are most of the other women: Brande Roderick (Miss April 2000), Taime Hannum, Nancy O'Brien, and Tara Deffenderfer. Most of the sex scenes were very good, but none of them were real standouts. Also, I thought a few of them were a little too short, or I would have given this a higher rating.

Overall, I recommend it.
