An Education In Slapstick Comedy
boblipton1 November 2020
Chester Conklin is the teacher in a oneroom schoolhouse where Myrtle Lind is the student body. Other pupils include a variety of comics, young and old, including Louise Fazenda as the stufdent in love with Conklin, Paddy Maguire as the class cut-up, and Eva Thatcher as the mother of one her students.

This is from soon after Sennett left Triangle to go with Paramount's distribution network, and we're still in pretty raw Keystone knockabout mode. The camerawork is pretty good, with a couple of high shots to give the audience a good view of what's going on. See if you can spot Marie Prevost, Phyllis Haver and Raymond Griffith. I couldn't.
