- In the opium den, a Chinese man is shown looking lustfully at a white woman who has fallen asleep.
- The doctor fights with a woman who is clearly a prostitute, rips her dress off and throws her on the bed. She is still wearing underwear. The fight occurs in what is clearly a 'crib' in a brothel. And the fight is intercut with shots of other women listening from the doorways of their cribs.
- A girl lifts up her skirt to expose her legs saying "Look what I got. Next to nature." She raises the skirt a little and says "Are you following me?" A man responds "Following you? I'm way ahead of you!"
