The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

In the opening credits you briefly see a woman's nipples

In one scene, the bad-girl, Onatopp, is dressed in lingerie and engaged in energetic intercourse with her Admiral lover, riding and viciously biting the man. She begins to hurt him, scratching his chest and finally flipping him over and squeezing him with her thighs. Whilst the camera angles and focus is on another part of the bedroom, her sexual sounds are nonetheless indicative of her orgasmic pleasure in his murder.

Again, she later tries this on Bond, dressed in an extremely loose robe which nearly reveals her breasts early in one scene. Fighting with Bond, there are many displays of near naked-flesh, and kissing. Onatopp also moans much more provocatively here than in any other scene, particularly during the point where she begins to crush Bond with her thighs, the act looking particularly like sex. Again, her sounds are indicative of orgasm.

Finally, Bond has sex with the good girl, Natalya, toward the end of the film, after a scene where she is clad in a bikini. During this scene, both of them are sufficiently covered up, the scene depicting the aftermath rather than the act.

Violence & Gore

This may be the Bond movie with the highest bodycount. Bond kills over 40 people, but no blood or bullet holes are shown.

A woman guns down many people at a space station. We hear screaming and close-ups of her and the gun being fired. We only see the result of the massacre in the case of violence. There is blood dripping out of the mouth from one victim.

A woman tries to crush Bond's ribs with her thighs. She seems to gain pleasure from it, and licks Bond's face with her tongue.

A woman head-butts another woman, knocking her unconscious.

A woman is pulled by a crashing helicopter, to which she is attached to by a bungee, and pulled against a tree, riving her. She struggles for for a few seconds before dying.

Towards the end, there is a brutal fight with ear-claps and headbutts, knees to the face; the two men have blooded noses and one man has blood down one arm.

A man falls to his death from a great height. We see his body impact with the ground. He spurts some blood from his mouth.

Profanity

A few uses of mild language, and one use of a Russian swear word equivilant of an F-word.

Bond drinks.

A woman smokes a cigar in one scene.

Two lead actors, Famke Janssen and Alan Cumming, were seen smoking during the film. Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) was NOT seen smoking... a distinct change from his predecessor, Timothy Dalton.

Using a standardized scoring system, this film received a smoking rating of 3 Butts (on a scale of 0-4 Butts). For more information on the impact of onscreen smoking and the initiation of youth tobacco use, or for more information on the rating system, visit www.smokescreeners.org.

Some fighting scenes and sexual fights with the character Xenia could scare younger kids. Alec's face might scare some children
