Personal favorite

Gerard Damiano's "Fantasy" was one of the very first adult movies I ever saw, and it has remained a personal favorite of mine ever since. It's quite beautifully done, and it has a certain poetic feel to it. Contrary to so many adult movies, you'll remember this one, - even if it's not for its, eh, 'adult' qualities. "Fantasy" made me fall desperatly in love with Sue Nero, and it made me a Damiano fan. It's a fine movie.

Selected by Columbia Pictures Television to see who on Fantasy Island crew or staff had written this copyrighted infringement

Where art imitates life. As a young production assistant in the biz, I was assigned the interesting but bizarre task of seeing the film.

It HAD to have been written by an unknown crew member ---

"Gordon" (played by Jon Martin) greeted guests(as I had done to each guest star as production assistant)

"Keesa Webster (Kyoto Sunn¹)was an arch type of "Skip" Webster one of the shows producers.

"Lady Gloria" (Georgina Spelvin)as "Gloria" referred to the first names of TWO producer's wives.

"Claude Julius" (Paul Thomas) ... referred to Julius Montoyer who was a grip.

There are more comparisons -- never found out who had parodied us. But everyone on the staff who had been named was VERY flattered.

Saw it only once -- so many years ago. Immoralised by a porn... Do I list this as a reference?

a very sad Damiano but one of his best !

Maybe you know Miss Jones, Miss Aggie or Joanna ; come and see how Gordon, the barman of "Fantasy", is one of the most sad and lonely character created by Gerard Damiano, a sort of "alter ego" who tries to understand the whole mystery of world, dreams and creation. This introspective movie is Damiano's "8 1/2", a very unknown one but a masterpiece.
