CBS, what are you doing; why, are you putting original shows on your stupid website? You-, have a network, you know that right? (Mocking voice) “Oh, of course, “Star Trek“, that’s popular, we’ll put that online, of course! Put that with that “The Good Wife” spinoff nobody knows exist, that’ll work!”…- Seriously what the hell are you doing!?!?!? No, you’re not Amazon, you’re not Netflix,- I’m sorry your network dates back to radio, but you don’t get to do this. Okay, you obviously can; you shouldn’t though, ’cause it’s stupid! On so many different levels this is stupid. You’re the number one most-watched Network on TV still, right? I didn’t make up that advertisement you’ve ran for like, the last five years or whatever, and it’s still true by the way. CBS is still barely edging out NBC,...

Everything about Amy Schumer’s wedding to Chris Fischer was a surprise — including who the happy couple chose to officiate the nuptials.
Schumer and Fischer tied the knot in a private ceremony in Malibu, California, on Tuesday, exchanging vows in front of about 80 people, including Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, Larry David and David Spade.
Just hours after the news broke on Thursday, the Trainwreck star posted a few photos from their intimate occasion, including one of comedian John Early — who married the couple while dressed in drag as “Vicky,” a character he has previously played in Netflix’s original series The Characters.

It’s been nearly two days since the Super Bowl ended and a day since the championship Eagles landed back home in Philadelphia, but there’s still much ado about Justin Timberlake‘s halftime show.
Namely, the debate continues over rumors the “Filthy” singer, 37, planned to perform alongside a Prince hologram.
Over one hundred million viewers tuned in to Timberlake’s halftime performance, where he sang and danced his way through a medley of hits from his 20-year music career. In one a somber moment, he played piano and sang alongside a projected film of Prince as the stadium and city glowed with purple lights,...

It will be a long time before people forget the sight of Jimmy Fallon playfully messing up Donald Trump’s hair on live television, but he made a genuine effort at a real political statement during his post-Superbowl live show. Breaking out his beloved Bob Dylan impression, the host of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” altered the lyrics to “The Times They Are a-Changin'” to reflect on Trump era policies and #MeToo. Filmed live in Dylan’s home state of Minnesota and shot in black and white, Fallon’s performance is as earnest an attempt at activism we’ve yet to see from the former “Saturday Night Live” goofball.

Prince’s longtime friend, collaborator and one-time fiancée Sheila E. says she had a good reason for not wanting the late singer to make a cameo in Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl Lii performance as a hologram.
“I said no. I felt it was just too soon. The hologram was weird, and Prince did tell me make sure ‘nobody ever does a hologram of me.’ ‘If you’re still here, make sure nobody does a hologram,'” the 60-year-old musician told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday.

Jessica Chastain has never been shy about advocating for better roles for women in Hollywood, she never misses an opportunity to express her dismay with the status quo, but she tried something a little different last night. In an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Chastain roped Fallon into the cause by letting him do what men do best: Play dumb. Fallon is the perfect male stand-in for average Joes everywhere, and his particular brand of boy-next-door naiveté works well in this context.

Who knew classroom instruments could make a song even better? Camila Cabello appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show Wednesday, where she performed her smash hit "Havana," using a lemon shaker as a prop. Host Jimmy Fallon proved to be a jack-of-all-trades, vacillating between the wood block, bass drum and Casio keyboard. The Roots got into it, too, with Tuba Gooding Jr. playing the Kazoo and using an orange shaker, Kamal Gray playing the xylophone, Mark Kelley playing the kazoo, Captain Kirk strumming the ukulele, James Poyser playing the melodica, Questlove using hand clappers, Stro banging the bongos and Black Thought playing the triangle. "Havana" is currently at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. ...

Avengers: Infinity War’s Chris Hemsworth Gets Candid About Almost Passing Up The Chance To Play Thor
Someone get Doctor Strange on the phone; Chris Hemsworth wants to borrow the Eye of Agamotto and, more specifically, the Time Stone hidden within.
Currently out promoting his true-life war drama 12 Strong, Marvel’s God of Thunder swung by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (h/t ComicBook.com), where talk inevitably veered toward Avengers: Infinity War, the deadliest McU movie yet.
In doing so, Fallon quizzed Hemsworth about the time he almost passed up the chance to play Thor for Marvel Studios. It’s something that the Aussie actor has addressed before, of course, and he’s been pretty forthcoming about his initial hesitation (spoilers: Chris Hemsworth was wary of signing a multi-picture deal for a project still in its infancy). But now that the McU has ballooned into a billion-dollar franchise, the actor has precisely zero regrets, and admitted that if he was in possession of a time machine,...

The Bells was a band known for signature vocal harmonies and the hit songs “White Dove” and “Stay Awhile”. In 1965 South African sisters Jackie and Anne Ralph were performing with their trio in small town Quebec when they first laid eyes on Cliff Edwards and his band. The electricity was palpable. By far the most clamorous reception I encountered was at the home and studio of William Wegman, from his three Weimaraners — Candy, Bobbin, and Flo. Wegman is widely known for the photographs, films, and videos he stages of his gray-furred clan. This three-decade story began with Wegman’s legendary Man Ray. Fay Ray succeeded his reign in 1986, as later did her offspring, and theirs in turn. Flo, pictured here, arrived in March of 2011, and Topper in May, shortly after my visit. Appearances over the years have included The Tonight Show and Late Night With David Letterman, and Wegman has created film and video works for Saturday Night Live, Nickelodeon, and Sesame Street. Wegman has also produced a series of children’s books (including Little Red Riding Hood, Mother Goose, and Chip Wants a Dog) and many others for adult readership. “I was so excited to see that chair,” Wegman said...

Chicago – Saturday, June 21st, 2014, marked a special night at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago – “A Salute to Dick Cavett.” The iconic talk show host, who seemingly knew every celebrity and newsmaker of the 20th Century, was honored for his broadcasting career, which has spanned over 50 years.
Richard Alva “Dick” Cavett was born – like his fellow talk show host Johnny Carson – in Nebraska. Like Carson, he began his entertainment career as a magician, right before he began college at Yale University. Shortly after graduating from Yale in the late 1950s, he was working at Time Magazine when he saw a notice in the newspaper that Jack Paar – then the host of “The Tonight Show” –was having difficulties with his opening monologues. Cavett wrote some jokes, and hand delivered them to Paar, who used them that night. The door to his career was open for Cavett, as he was hired...

This weekend, comedian David Brenner passed away after a struggle with cancer. He was 78.
Typically, this is not the kind of thing we would cover, but then we found this epic clip of Brenner hosting The Tonight Show, with guests Vincent Price and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. The clip comes from 1986, back when Elvira was still rather new on the scene, and Brenner is quite smitten with her. In fact, she leaves him speechless on more than one occasion in this seven minute long clip.
