- A man goes with a woman to her place and they kiss on bed. Sex is implied.
- Towards the very end of the film a woman stripteases for bored party guests, but nothing explicit is shown (she is shown topless for several seconds, but she is laying on the ground and from far away enough that you can't see anything). Several other characters offer to striptease before she does, and one of them is turned down because "everyone knows what you look like naked". Three minor characters are in drag at the end of the movie. A man declares a couple at the ending party will be the first "screwing". A woman's butt is slapped.

- A woman who is suspicious of her husband attempts to commit suicide, but is later saved in the hospital.
- A man kills his two children and commit suicide. Later Marcello comes to his apartment and finds the children and the man dead.
- A woman and a man get into a heated argument and he slaps her.
