Lucie returns to Paris after a weekend in Brussels. She is about to return to her fiance and her monotonous life. On the bus home, she finds a forgotten bag containing a Polaroid, a notebook and, above all, a photo album of a man's life. She turns back to find the bag's owner and embarks on a new, life-changing journey to Brussels.
