As a Belgian I'm always curious about movies from my homeland. It's not a country that has high budgets to spend on movies but every now and then they manage to bring an interesting movie. Linkeroever (or West Bank for the English title) is for sure inspired by Polanski's work. It's almost a Belgian take on Rosemary's Baby. Eline Kuppens and Matthias Schoenaerts made it pleasant to follow. Good acting from both of them. The story itself could have benefited from more explanations, certainly towards the end but overall it's worth a watch if you're interested in foreign movies with a low budget.
