Good story

Warning: Spoilers
This movie, about the true story of a disillusioned military contractor employee and his drug pusher childhood friend who became walk-in spies for the Soviet Union, is a good true crime movie!

I did not get that much of a connection to the characters, which unfortunately is a small drawback for the whole experience. Otherwise, I mostly had a good time. Aside from the true story, which I am not familiar with, I like the storyline, and you really feel stressed about Daulton Lee's ways of doing things for the protagonist, Christopher Boyce. I also like the way it gets really messy, and it depicts how chaotic shortcuts can turn out. The conclusion is satisfying and the way the movie conveys with the comparison of predators and preys is spot on.

Though lacking character depth, this movie grips with its true story. The suspenseful plot and messy fallout from Lee's actions build tension. A satisfying conclusion reinforces the movie's message, making it a memorable true-crime experience.
