The original was fun and thrilling to watch but they messed up with this second installment.
The story of the first half was the same as the original's and the second half was a mere continuation of the original, the screenplay was average, the direction was average and the performances were bad. It was a good idea to explore the underground ruins of once a city and they could have explored more on how all this happened but the makers went with what you can call nonsense. The underground society shown was also so bad and unnecessary that you start losing your will to watch the movie after a certain point of time.
Overall, it was an underwhelming sequel which could have been a great one if the writers would have worked more efficiently.
