This movie is not a easy story to tell or watch. As I'm walking into adulthood, I felt compelled to.understand why this had such poor ratings, when you have Jenna Ortega as the main character (which made a massive impact in Wednesday). And the thing is... did I enjoyed it?
I think it's not for me to decide if I like or hate this movie, because that's not the punchline intended. It is simply a reflection of what it feels to have your "youth ripped from you like.skin". You are just the viewer of this personal relationship, you don't get to judge it. It's art, and that's enough to remain as such.
