This is regarded by many, as the absolute worst disney sequel ever made. A lot of people didnt get it.
Yes, the animation is kind of crappy, but at the same it is extremely provocative and charming. It looks like a 90's anime, which in a way it is since this was made in Japan in the 90's but for some reason it wasnt released until 2002.
Unlike many other disney sequels that are just rehashes of the original, this one does something completely different.
We get a completely new Villain, completely new motivation and completely different personality than Frollo.
Quasimodo finally gets a corresponding love interest. I dont get why so many people are against this. I have seen many arguments saying that at the end of the first one he gets the love from the people or whatever. I dont get why the ending of the first one means he cant have a girlfriend now.
I loved this as a kid. I rewatched it and although it has many flaws, it has a lot to enjoy. It is the product of a bygone era, something like this could never ever be made today.
