I had high hopes for this movie but in the end, the same old story told with narration that didn't fit. It never really got its footing. There wasn't enough depth in the characters and then the ending felt rushed and unrealistic. The idea was there to create a different kind of "teacher gets involved with the student" storyline but this didn't stray far enough from that. And that's too bad because that kind of acting talent deserved a better script. I kept waiting for something deeper and more interesting to happen but it never did. I kept trying to decide if I could bail but powered through. I won't be giving this one another thought. Wish I hadn't spent the $6.99 to rent through Amazon.
