My biggest issue however is the pacing. We go from a week after the pilot, to like a month, to FIVE MONTHS. The characters are severely underdeveloped, and there's a lot of telling rather than showing. We barely know any of the main characters back stories! Why are they there? Why do they want redemption? Why should we care about them? We get to know more about some of the background characters than the main ones! The show says the guest are getting better, but we barely get to see any of that happening. The show says two characters have a father daughter relationship, but we never get to see that form. Everything just needs to slow down! They had plenty of time to have the characters interact and form connections that feel natural, but noooo! They wanted to get straight to the big boss fight!
