I have few hopes for Fantasy B-movies. It's usually a given that for the Fantasy and sci-fi genres, a large influx of cash is necessary for the effects needed to make them 'good,' and B movies are not known for their big budgets. In this, I was itching to see a dragon I hadn't seen before.
The dragon and other effects, were lame (big surprise). However, I found myself enjoying the movie for its other virtues.
It's basically a D&D module put to screen, and the acting is more than passable, especially in the latter half. The scenery is lovely, music is great, and the mains were worth watching.
