Overkill

Blown out of proportion. A woman gets mad at her husband and does EVERYTHING right. Gets back all her skills and everything overnight and everything goes right for her. The movie is all about how she was too cool to marry and yet she did and now she is suffering because the everyday married life is "boring".

The film's portrayal of women empowerment is not just heavy-handed; it's an egregious overkill that transforms a potentially relevant theme into a caricature. The narrative beats the audience over the head with its agenda, sacrificing any semblance of nuance or authenticity in the process. It seems more concerned with scoring points for a superficial feminist stance than with genuinely exploring the complexities of empowerment. This forced and exaggerated approach not only diminishes the impact of the message but also risks alienating viewers who might have appreciated a more thoughtful and balanced take on the subject. The film's relentless pursuit of empowerment becomes a self-defeating spectacle, drowning any meaningful conversation in a sea of theatrical and disconnected moments.
