Dead Heat tells a story of two cops who discover that a criminal they're after is resurrecting dead bodies, eventually they become zombies themselves and take down the entire criminal organization. The acting and humor are atrocious; which ironically makes this an enjoyable movie. The zombie makeup effects are well done; particularly the fat biker zombie that looks like he has three faces and the main character Roger; who dies and comes back as a zombie and is slowly rotting away throughout the entire film. Overall Dead Heat is an average 80s zombie flick with a buddy cop theme. If you like cop comedies and/or zombie movies, you'll probably enjoy this one.
