Visually very good. The expense on the CGI wasn't spared. On the big screen in a cinema or movie theatre it must have been impressive. The script and acting was awful. Plain and simple awful. There's a few cameos but it's prolonged by action sequences that take too long and get boring. To me it's a mish mash of Dune, 5th element, Star Wars and every camp sci-fi ever made. There's a few amusing ditty's that break the monotony but the vehicle for ageing actors didn't really work or enhance what we were watching. The dance scene with Rhianna being a case in point. That was a good teabreak point. Anyway it's a bit of fun that you can watch while doing the knitting or painting the ceiling.
