A story told out of order, think Memento or Pulp Fiction.
Or sort of whose done it or why dons it. You can tell they wanted to keep the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end for when everything finally comes together, but...
The problem, it's so damn easy to piece it all together within 20 minutes. So for the rest of the movie you are sort of just dragged along, waiting for the ending that you already know how it's going to end.
That's a huge problem with movies like this where they want to have a twist but their isn't enough story to twist around for it to be surprising to the audience.
