" Natty Knocks" has fun with it's killer's ( Bill Moseley) obsession with his mother's old 1970's horror films, and Robert Englund does a great job explaining how the Natty Knocks legend was born.
The older horror stars( Danielle Harris is in this too ) are well supported by young unknowns especially baby sitter Charlotte Fountain Jardim in her impressive debut.
With a Halloween horror fun house, a teen romance, a crooked cop, and an angry ghost, a creepy graveyard, the film is fun to watch. The kids spend a little too much time trying to figure out the killer's identity and the supernatural element is a little rushed but overall a fun movie to watch.
