Pretty good

Warning: Spoilers
I was going to half-jokingly compare this to M*A*S*H, but then the ending hit, and they Abyssinia, Henry-ed me. It's very reminiscent of the way the third season ended.

It's another John Ford film I watched today that didn't blow me away, but delivered more than I expected. The cast's really good here, and alongside a decent number of humorous moments and a fairly realistic look at the boredom of war (wardom?), they make this worth watching. I think Jack Lemmon was the standout. He gets the most memorable and bombastic character to play, but he does it really well, and even though the other actors were good, he comes close to stealing the movie at times.
