After a sleazy college professor sexually assaults a female student called Angela she and seven of her horror loving friends get revenge by dressing up in clown costumes and giving the guy a fright in the night. Only the pranks goes wrong and the Prof falls to his death. His death is put down as suicide but afterwards one by one the group are murdered by The Mad Clown! Just think the "Scream" movies, parts 5 and 6 in particular, swap Ghostface for a clown and make it in Spain and this is pretty much the end result, only this is worse than any of the Scream movies (and I hated part 6!). Angela is played by Veki Velilla, a remarkably unattractive lead, some of the men in the cast are prettier than her (though I am sure the make up team were tasked with making her look so dowdy). There are plenty of kills, some are alright, others feature very obvious and cheap looking CGI. Some scenes manage a degree of tension but not a lot, and I don'r recall one good jump scare. Nothing original here (apart from being in Spanish perhaps), and the final scene is groan inducing. Will there be a sequel? Hopefully not! I only watch Netflix when I house sit, overall I am not impressed by the quality of films that they release and this is yet another disappointing example.
